Now you will be prompted to sign in to FalconApps - use your FalconNet email address and password to sign in.It is recommended that you leave the Always connect at launch check box checked, that way, it won't ask again. Next, the first time you go into the application, you will need to tell it where the application server is.Next, input your computer's administrator password if it asks. Note: this dialog box may be hidden behind others, you may have to move things to see it. If this is the first time you are launching the program, it will ask warn you that you may need the admin password to your computer to use USB and printing services while connected.The first time you launch the application, MacOS may warn you that the application is from the internet, and ask if you want to open it.Now navigate to your Applications folder on your computer, locate VMWare Horizon Client and open the application.Next, drag the green VMWare Horizon Client to the Applications folder in the window.Double click on the DMG file in your Downloads folder to mount the installer. This will download the VMWare Horizon Client to your computer, usually in your Downloads folder.Under VMware Horizon Client for Mac, click on GO TO DOWNLOADS. You will be taken to VMWare's download page.You will see a screen to select whether you want to Install VMWare Horizon Client or VMWare Horizon HTML Access.If you need to access the applications in a web browser, click here for instructions on how to do that. We recommend using the installed client application for the best possible experience.

When you connect to the FalconApps server, you have a choice between running the applications in a web browser, or in the installed client application.

Contact the Help Desk if you need help doing this, and we will provide you with a link to that version. The applications should still work on older versions of MacOS if you install Client version 4.x instead of 2006 (as indicated here).

For MacOS these instructions pertain to MacOS 10.13 and above. We recommend that your computer (Windows or MacOS) be fully updated to the latest version of the operating system, and fully patched. The FalconApps server is an application delivery server that allows you to access software applications that are owned by the college, and housed on-campus - from anywhere, and on both Windows and Apple computers.
