The caller's name or number will appear at the top of the screen as well as a message that says, 'From iPhone. On the iPad, you will see a call screen that is very similar to the alert screen you get on the iPhone.

On a Mac, you will see a pop-up notification in the top right-hand corner of your screen that has the caller's name/number and the option to accept or decline the call. When you connect your iPhone to an iPad or Mac, you will be able to answer calls on any device. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Calls. Each device is connected to the same network using Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Each device is signed in to FaceTime with the same Apple ID. It is connected to my phone and 'authorized'. Each device is signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID. I checked and the icloud and facetime apple ID's are the same. I can make outgoing calls on the mac just fine.

It works fine on my iphone and ipad, but not my Mac. Select Call Using iPhone, to make a phone call from your Mac. It used to work just fine, but for some reason I can no longer receive Facetime calls on my Mac. On your phone, tap Allow when asked to make your phone visible to other Bluetooth devices. When you see a phone number you want to call, hover over it with your cursor, and then click the drop-down arrow. From the Your Phone app on your PC, click the icon on the left sidebar for Calls. Apps like Safari, Mail or Calendar are good examples of this. You can also take advantage of apps that recognize phone numbers. Remember, your iPhone needs to be nearby, on the same WiFi network, and connected to the same iCloud account as your Mac. Simply, open the app, enter a phone number in the search box, hit Enter, and click the green Audio button to place a call. As with the iPad, you can make a phone call on your Mac when you use the FaceTime app.
